Terms of service
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between BuyerFlo Pty Ltd (ABN 41 696 232 621), trading as Leavecast (“we”), and the business that signs up (“you”). By connecting an organisation to Leavecast you agree to them on the business’s behalf, and confirm you’re allowed to.
The service
Leavecast reads leave from Xero Payroll (Australia) and reflects it in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and, if you connect it, Slack. Xero access is read-only: Leavecast never changes your Xero data. You choose which features are on.
Trial, billing and cancelling
- Each Xero organisation gets one 14-day free trial, starting when it’s first connected to Leavecast. Leavecast starts syncing once an account owner adds a card or bank account through Stripe.
- Nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, the subscription starts automatically and the first payment is taken from the card or bank account you added, unless you cancel before then. We email account owners before the trial ends.
- Each organisation needs its own monthly subscription, billed in advance in Australian dollars through Stripe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. The current price is shown on our website and at checkout, before you add payment details. A subscription covers an organisation with up to 50 staff; for more, contact us first.
- You can cancel at any time from Leavecast, under Manage billing. If you cancel during the trial, nothing is charged. Otherwise the subscription runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for; we don’t refund part periods except where the law requires it.
- If a payment doesn’t go through, Stripe tries again over the following days. If it still can’t be collected, the subscription is cancelled.
- If a trial or subscription ends, Leavecast stops syncing and removes the upcoming team calendar events, out-of-office events, auto-replies and Slack statuses it created. After 30 days without a subscription, it disconnects from your Xero organisation and deletes its copy of the Xero data.
- We’ll give account owners at least 30 days’ notice of a price change.
Your responsibilities
- Only connect Xero, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Slack accounts your business controls, and have the authority to do so.
- Tell your staff that their leave is shown on calendars, auto-replies and Slack, and handle their personal information lawfully.
- Keep leave and employee email addresses in Xero accurate. Leavecast reflects what Xero says.
- Don’t misuse Leavecast: no attempts to access other businesses’ data, disrupt the service or get around its limits.
Your data
Your data stays yours. We handle it as described in the privacy policy, only to provide Leavecast to you. You can disconnect at any time and then delete your organisation’s data from Leavecast.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep Leavecast running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. Leavecast checks Xero every 15 minutes and depends on Xero, Google, Microsoft and Slack being available, so changes aren’t instant. Don’t rely on it where a delay would cause harm.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by Xero, Google, Microsoft, Slack or your own data or settings.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and tell account owners about significant changes before they apply. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously breached, or if a subscription isn’t paid.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts that can hear appeals from them.
